In Benalmádena, going shopping is a real temptation. It’s hard to go home with a light suitcase, because it seems impossible to resist its unique crafts, gourmet products, and the many souvenirs to share with family. 

Each area has something special that makes it hard to leave empty-handed. The town centre is perfect for filling your basket with more traditional keepsakes and gifts, while the proximity to the Mediterranean leads you to the many summer stalls selling accessories and ornaments. 

The Levante Basin is also full of all kinds of shops, not to mention the shopping centre where you can also enjoy leisure and dining: Puerto Marina Shopping. In Arroyo de la Miel too—especially along Avenida de la Constitución and nearby streets—small businesses create a more family-friendly atmosphere. 

For the curious and for those who want to feel Benalmádena’s everyday life, the best plan is to stroll through its markets: the organic market, where you can taste local produce; the popular Wednesday flea market; and the Arroyo de la Miel market, with nearly 230 stalls (second-hand items, antiques, crafts…).
