Register Your Tourism Business with InnovaLab!
1. What is InnovaLab and what are its benefits?
The new Benalmádena Tourism website offers a revamped space designed to give your business greater visibility and bring your offerings closer to visitors and residents in a more accessible and dynamic way. Through this platform, you can showcase your services and share news, promotions, or events.
In addition, you can manage your content independently through InnovaLab, a support space for the local business community.
1. How to register my tourism business
Send an email to innovalab_turistico@benalmadena.es.
State that you would like to join the project and specify the tourism resource you own.
Your business must have its registered tax address in the municipality, and you must have an email address to register it on the platform.
2. How to update my business information
If your business is already listed on our portal, send us an email at innovalab_turistico@benalmadena.es with your business's trading name and the contact you would like us to register (email address, name, and job title of the associated person).
If your business is not yet on our portal, write to us at the same email address and send us the required information following this Style Guide.
Once your email address has been registered and linked to your tourism resource, you will be able to access the Benalmádena Destination Management System Extranet and update your information independently, from public details (such as your phone number or postal address) to your general description, social media links, and images.
3. CAN I PUBLISH EVENTS?
Yes, as long as the event is held in Benalmádena. You only need to complete this form, and we will receive a request for approval. If all the information is correct, we will approve its publication, and you will be able to see it updated on the portal within 48–72 hours.
4. EXTRANET USER GUIDE FOR EDITING YOUR COMPANY
If you have already completed the registration process, welcome. You are now part of Benalmádena's InnovaLab! Next, we will provide you with the credentials you need to update your business through the Extranet of our Destination Management System.
Practical access information
How to access the platform
Log in with your username and password to access the Destination Management System Extranet.
If this is your first time logging in, enter your email address in the Username field and click "Forgot your password?" Update your password after your first session.
How to edit my company information
It's very simple! To edit a Product's information (a term that refers to the Company), you must go to the top right: 'Actions > Edit product'.
What information can I edit
Description: You can include a description of your product and make it extensible to the available languages.
Images: To load multimedia files you must go to the top right and access:
Upload multimedia file.
Information to keep in mind: access image upload (recommended size: 1220x715 px) and add mandatory alternative text to each of them. There is the possibility to change the order of the images.
Categories and services: choose the services that your establishment offers.
Offers: You can also add offers in the Offers tab.
Remember to always follow the style rules of the Benalmádena Tourism portal. Otherwise, we reserve the right to reject the update and will send an email indicating the reason for non-acceptance.
